Unilever Stock Prices Fall After Israel's Prime Minister Warns Company Over Ben and Jerry's Boycott
July 22, 2021
Stock prices of Unilever have fallen today after Israel's Prime Minister Naftali Benner warned Unilever of what may be an Israeli national boycott of the entire Unilever company product line after Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream announced it is pull

ing out of part of Israel. “This is Ben and Jerry's acting is in violation of the US federal anti-Boycott laws I wrote about in my book Boycotting Peace. While I never anticipated this type of action, it is clearly a case of a company engaging in a foreign-sanctioned boycott as described in the 1974 US anti-Boycott laws” said Fred Taub, President of Boycott Watch. He continued: “Further more, it is also in violation of the anti-boycott laws established by about thirty states.”
